How to get to Fürth in a relaxed manner
Fürth is easy to reach by car, train, public transport, or plane. Thanks to its proximity to Nuremberg, an excellent highway network, frequent rail connections, and Nuremberg Airport, getting to the “Cloverleaf City” couldn’t be easier. The Tourist Information Center is located right in Fürth’s main train station—the perfect starting point for exploring the city.

Fürth is easily accessible via several highways.
West to east:
A6 (Heilbronn – Amberg)
North to south:
A3 (Frankfurt – Passau)
A9 (Berlin – Munich)

Arriving by public transportation

Fürth has excellent public transport connections to the metropolitan region. Fürth Central Station is regularly served by S-Bahn, regional trains, and the U1 subway line. Numerous bus lines also ensure good accessibility within the city and from the surrounding area.
From Nuremberg Central Station:
Take the U1 subway line towards Fürth Hardhöhe and get off at Fürth Hauptbahnhof.
Take the S1 S-Bahn line towards Bamberg and get off at Fürth Hauptbahnhof.
Arrival via Nuremberg Airport
From Nuremberg Airport, you can reach Fürth in about 25 minutes:
- Take the U2 subway towards Röthenbach to Plärrer, then change to the U1 towards Fürth Hardhöhe
- Alternatively: take bus 33 towards Fürth Hauptbahnhof (main station)
