Since 2002, the municipal kunst galerie fürth has been presenting a diverse program of contemporary art in the former teller hall of the Sparkasse on Königsplatz. Through four to five exhibitions per year, the gallery showcases current trends, themes, and discourses in contemporary art—in solo shows, group exhibitions, or thematic projects. A special focus is placed on both local relevance and the work of national and international artists. An accompanying educational program featuring guided tours, artist talks, and workshops is designed for visitors of all ages.
kultur.lokal.fürth
Located in the heart of downtown Fürth, kultur.lokal.fürth offers a space for contemporary art—accessible, open, and right in the heart of the city. In this municipally funded project space at Bahnhofplatz 2, regional artists present rotating exhibitions, performances, and events. Visitors can experience creative processes firsthand and interact directly with the artists. Admission is free.
