     Fürth and its economic miracle pioneers

 Three Fürth residents in particular are responsible for Fürth's economic miracle: Ludwig Erhard, Max Grundig, and Gustav Schickedanz. After World War II, Germany was in ruins. In the 1950s and 1960s, an economic boom took place that seemed like a miracle to many. With innovative business ideas and clever technologies, Grundig and Schickedanz achieved world fame. The tour takes you to places where Fürth's economic miracle can be traced. Questions such as “Why did the shops suddenly fill up again after years of economic scarcity?” or “How did Ludwig Erhard become the father of the economic miracle?” are answered along the way.
