Ryskinder (Tel Aviv) ================ Wir sind super glücklich, RYSKINDER wieder mal im kunstkeller präsentieren zu können. RYSKINDER ist das Projekt von Asaf Eden, fest verankert im DIY-Underground der israelischen Musikszene. Bei seinen Konzerten singt Asaf auf hebräisch, die Musik ist alles zwischen loop-basiertem Elektro-Indie-Pop, nahöstlichem Hiphop und basslastigem Lofi-Garage. Wie sich das anhört? Absolut knusper, genial und frisch, wie man es zuletzt vielleicht vom jungen BECK gehört hat! Forrester (Berlin/Halifax) =============================== NATHANIEL was born in the height of the Thatcher era to the sound of sheep and Yorkshire accents. When he was 18, he boarded a National Express and entered the South of England, where he founded the band THE HORNBLOWER BROTHERS with high school friend Als, in Brighton. He went on to release several records, touring the country, and playing with the likes of JEFFREY LEWIS, METRONOMY, THE WAVE PICTURES, and the LOVELY EGGS, as well achieving the star-studded fandom of MARC RILEY and STEVE LAMACQ. In between holding down a steady income as a postman, bartender, and English teacher, he managed to squeeze in many travels around the world and spent a stint living as a would-be surfer dude on the edge of a rainforest in Queensland, Australia, before settling in Berlin, Germany. After spending a couple of years exploring Berlin’s couch surf/subletting scene, he decided to get a new musical project off the ground and fuse his interests in lo-fi recordings, synth pop, afro pop, and poetry. Following a year spent practicing to his bedroom wall, he amassed a band, and together they began reducing audiences to sweaty dancing messes. Das Konzert ist nicht bestuhlt, bei Bedarf können aber für einzelne Personen Stühle aufgestellt werden. Der Zugang zum kunstkeller o27 ist leider nicht barrierefrei (Treppenstufen in den Keller).
