     Why the people of Nuremberg weren't allowed to go to Fürth & other Fair stories

 The **Michaelis-Kirchweih Fair** is undoubtedly the most important event in the Fürth calendar. It's the mix that makes it so special: it's both a fair and a market. People come from all over the region to the **Fädder Kärwa**. After all, it is over 900 years old. This tour explores the historical origins of the festival and recounts many curiosities about the **Queen of Franconian Kirchweih Fairs**, not to mention the story of how the council of the imperial city of Nuremberg did not want to allow its citizens to attend the **Fürther Kirchweih Fair**.
